View Full Version : My 'Removal From The Team'
Well i logged off my computer today at around 6pm to do some PE revision, and returned to my laptop at around 9.30pm to print off some revision materials for tomorrow morning.
When my MSN signed in i was asked why i had resigned, little did i know MAD had fired me.
I then recieved a PM with the title 'Your Removal From The Team' and in it it said i had been rude to a member of management, when infact i had not.
So with this in mind i proceeded to MAD and asked him to show me where i had 'been rude to a member of management staff'
And the reply was;
"i simply did not like your attitude towards me"
"i found it rude the way you dealt with things"
To which i replied;
"I could also say that about you"
"However i dont think i was ever rude to you?"
To which i recieved the reply;
"like i said"
"i found your attitude rude"
I replied with;
"What incident did you feel i dealth with badly?"
To which i recieved this;
"the situation with dan's thread and the fact where i pmed you about your post and then i felt you kept threatening you would resign if so and so isnt sorted, anything else?"
The post he is on about is this one here: http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost.php?p=3494374&postcount=664
I then said this;
"I didnt make threats."
"You assumed i said that"
I then recived this;
"anyway, thanks for your time and efforts i greatly appreciated your work you were a great mod :) see you around on the forums"
But the most bazzar thing about this was that i never broke a single habbox rule, otherwise i would of recieved a infraction or warning, does this sound like another unjustified firing? Or maybe a personal vendetta? Ill leave that for you to decide.

not really, it's not like a football team.
There would have been no need to fire him if his story is accurate, which based on the recent ---MAD--- saga I believe is true.

Its basically in with the old and out with the new. I record people saying old habbox forum was better. Then I see 4/5 ex mods/smods be hired. Maybe MAD is doing this to try and get the old hxf bac which can only be good right.
I am sad to see some of the mods go though

Your entitled to your opinion, but i dont see how you can form such a view when you have no idea what was going on?
If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Some guys seem to be confused when people are resigning or when they are fired. If the announcement says "[name] is no longer [job]", they have been fired. If it says "[name] resigns from [job]" they have resigned. Thats what we have to follow. Just to save future confusion :P
Its a shame to see you go. I know you were a good moderator, and it does sound like an unjust firing in my opinion.
You were going full on for the new forum because it was getting run badly.

Has anyone noticed the trend developing yet?

I'm really sorry to hear that. You used to be a great mod.
Seems harsh, you were a good moderator.
Never thought i'd hear anything from you like that, since i did infract you once or twice?

Thanks Matt, however things happen that you can't control and times change, no point dwelling on it.

Really. Well it wasn't me this time, honest :D Wonder who did that?:eusa_whis
:eusa_wall I think it was extremely harsh and you should appeal to Sierk :eusa_wall
You were a very good moderator. The only great thing you can say about being sacked is that you can actually have an opinion without fear of being sacked.:eusa_clap

Well, you have been rude to me numerous (Sp?) times.
but yeh, mad has truely (sp?) lost it. 2 mods 2 smod hired. 1 smod fired.
i know it sucks but theres nothing you can do but wait untill mad is fired.

MAD chose people who had been recommended by Moderators in a thread in Moderators Only. "Getting the old HxF back" had nothing to do with it, I suspect :S!

Yes, that is definitely one of the good things about not being staff :)! It's a shame to see you have been fired Luke, you were a great Moderator and it seems that another rather pathetic firing has taken place. I daresay MAD will try to defend things but most people will see the truth.

thats the un-democratic thing about habbox
i could say to a new member with 3 posts your such a noob and nothing would be done about it, but if i said that to high management i would be fired and infracted. hardly seems fair.
You were un-fairly fired mate.

Well what jake said "out with the new, in with the old" is the bigest bull i ever heard! Luke is a old member of moderation, he does ab etter job then half the mods do "/
Mad's getting rid of all "to be super moderators" lets face it. He's getting his "members" in as staff.

You made numerous comments like "if nothing is done about ---MAD--- I will leave" etc. So I don't think you should act suprised that ---MAD--- doesn't want to go on with you anymore. And that is exactly what he means by your attitude.

Now this has been taken a step further, your putting words into my mouth which i did not say, so if you'd care to PM me, or post here to where i said those exact words, i'd be greatful. Private messages are called private for a reason.
And, since when is that against habbox rules? I wasn't fired for my attitude, i was fired for being rude to a member of management staff. So please do quote that also.
Like you say, give examples ;).

Wow, really? That's not like MAD..
Half of the people are just jumping on the band wagon to be honest, with the Whole Mad thing. Mad's always been fine with me, i think people are blowing it out of the water, to be honest! =/
Sorry to hear you were 'Removed From The Team' though.

From what I see Habbox is very professional, tonnes of Habbos want to join the Staff Team. So if you make the smallest of a mistake, you would be fired. You were a great MOD though, sad to see you go :(
