Bonjour,
I've thought about everything I was told and this time I've created a cleaner layout which incorporates a better colour scheme, or at least I think so I'd like some feedback on it and as usual I'll + rep you if you post constructively. Oh and yes there isn't a watermark but as I always say, you wont gain anything from stealing layouts.
Thanks,
Jay.

Pretty Nice! :)
I like the general look (background especially) except it needs something... maybe a different font for the content headers?
Anyways good work!

There are aspects of this I like, but outweighed by the aspects I dislike.
I could write an essay on the good and bad points but I'll sum it up briefly.
¬ The grey lines in content boxes, honestly they look rubbish.
¬ The headers of the content boxes, don't stand out enough.
¬ The page background. Scanlines take away what little professionalism the layout has, why not try a solid colour with drop shadow on content box.
¬ The rounded corners. They don't suit this layout at all Jay.
Overall I don't think it is a great layout I am afraid.
Regards
Richard

Thats for pointing that out Richard, I will try designing it better next time and will take them points into account, I can see were you are coming from with some of them points, I'll try to improve it next time, I have not done many layouts like this before as most of mine were not aimed at being a clean look, I will try to think more carefully in the future when designing.
Thanks,
Jay.

Plain, try add some gradients some where.
Also, to center text in photoshop, click the text tool and you can create a box with it. Then align it centered.

Wow, I like it :D
I don't like the way the banner box at the top is offline with the other boxes though.
9/10, +rep !

I like you have made a nice layout :)
It looks OK. I don't like the corners, seem too black..? The line that is.
The "header" box doesn't match the "content header" box (on the right side), which looks a little bad. :(
Overall, it's an OK design. Keep working on it, and it'll be great! :D
Also, the blue is nice. :8
To get grids (on PS) press Ctrl and '
That way you can get them in line correctly :)
