View Full Version : True friends.
I have just realised who my true friends are. When a certain two of my mates' mopeds were in the garage I would alaways go round to their house and pick them up and take them out to town or down to the local shopping centre or something, now that my moped is in the garage I haven't heard from them since yesturday and neither of them have come round to my house or offered to give me a lift someehere, so I just rang them off my mums mobile and told them I know who my true friends are.
Do you think I did the right thing??

Erm not particularly, they could've been busy?
I didn't really get a full story from what you said though.

Well I can sympathise with what you are saying. Sometimes circumstances do arise when you find out who your true friends are. As it has only been a day maybe it was a bit soon but if they are true friends they are going to want to know why you are upset. People say you can count the number of true friends on one hand. Could be true.... see if they come back when you moped is out of the garage. =]

My mopeds sitting in my back garden, not legal untill 18th june. My mates all are and thye come round all time, nevertheless they always go on asking about me when im legal and that. I think i know what you mean though. Maybe they're going on a long 'cruise' and obviously you can't so no point going round? not like you can go on the back of a moped.

Yeah i do. This just shows how they're using you. One way to decide is;
Do you talk to them about any problems etc.
Do you trust them?
Hope this helps!
Well I know for a fact they weren't busy but now I have borrowed a ped (even though most my mates think it's robbed :eusa_wall ) and now I this one they keep ringing me to come out, which has ****** me off.

Wow, a day. They're obviously users, they only wanted you for your moped!!! TBH, I don't think you did the right thing, and you look clingy because you didn't hear from them in a day and phone them saying they obviously aren't true friends.

jut tell them where to go.
It's not the fact it was a day or two what ever it was in the end, it's the fact that they think I'm a prat and being out of order if I don't go up and see them when they haven't got their ped(s), I know I over reacted a bit but that's down to me having a short temper. But my two best mates have said that yeah it was out of order because they know that when someone doesn't have a ped (because it's in the garage or what) I am up there straight away, and I will even go with them t try and get their bike fixed or what not.

Did you ever consider ringing them and asking them to come pick you up?
