Apart from the obvious things what can i do to improve this room?

great room :P + rep, I really like the black and white contrast thing you have going. Get some snows to maybe replace the petals, the petals don't look bad but if you want to make a winter trade to do stick out a bit :P.
I'm not too keen on the rollers but there's always gonna be an issue with blocking in a trade room.
As for whether it can get popular, well the room you made is a great trade room you just need to put the effort into keeping it on pop.
Some other furni you could consider using such as snowglobes, aqua icms or fans, holopods etc.
good luck with the room, would like to see updates coming this way :D

hope it gets pop, i wouldnt mind trading in there as opposed to the regular hc pyramids, they're so.. boring
