Hey,

Ok I made another thread, don't scream.

I just need to know if I release POWERpanel BETA 0.1 (which is basically just all the stuff that was in the live preview just..finished) if people are going to use it.

If they are I'll hurry up with the coding and get it released by this weekend [hopefully].

So yeah, vote please :)

I don't really mind if you're not going to use it; I just fancy knowing if there is any point in releasing it because of the great success of Dan's panel.

2. Doesn't PP just use KP's layout but modded a little?

Ryan the only reason the next 'version' is called BETA 0.15 is because it's only a minor update so why should it have it's own version...

If you deleted a user and they were logged in at the time, they would not get logged out.

I am now adding extra protection so that every page runs "checkaccount()" which makes sure the account exists along with the fact they are logged in.

:) which contain a list of instructions for the mod. SQL and all php files can be created from that file. :)

EX:

When a new update is done, I think the panel should keep looking at a page on your server, then checks its version with the latest version, and if not it goes to like whatever/version/update/versionhere/whatever.ppmod (on your server) and then that will have a php file in it which the file which checks on the server then runs, which changes mysql, php files and creates new ones and does it auto so the user dont have to.

Like this:

file.php - checks www.site.co.uk/pp/update/new.ppmod (everytime someone goes on the index)

if its version is 0.1 and the link says 0.2, it auto goes to www.site.co.uk/pp/update/version/update/newversionhere/new.ppmod and that file will have a php code which changes everything from mysql to files

file.php will then run that page on its own server, updating stuff etc, without the user knowning
