Hey,

I said I wasn't going to make a thread for the release, but meh. WHO CARES?

My DJ Panel has FINALLY been released, after months of discussion if it will ever be released, it has :)

KNOWN ISSUES:

Q) Why do some things take longer to load than other things?

A) Some pages like the Shoutbox, etc have to use a swear filter. The filter is taken from the POWERpanel site, thus making the page taking longer to load. To change the filter's file source just edit the "includes/functions.php" file to grab the swears.txt file from your server.

To do this just change



$words = file_get_contents("http://powerpanel.duosystems.net/grab/swears.txt");
to a file on your server.

EG:


$words = file_get_contents("http://www.yoursite.com/powerpanel/includes/swears.txt");

it stoped working at the point where you make username, it wouldnt work coz config.php was still empty i thinkzz

Config.php is made at the end of the stages :)
SQL.php is made after the correct mySQL Information was given.

EDIT: I forgot to mention in the readme, 'includes/config.php' and 'includes/sql.php' have to be CHMOD to 0777.
EDIT #2: Logout works fine for me :S

It would be easy, as you would just find the word that is accepting, then on that line find ; and replace it with , [link]; then on the checking it gets it from that list, finds each line (i recommend having the swear words like [this]) and finds the words between [ and ] and simple replaces it with ****

Please note, the stars I showed was not swearing, it was recommending about the swearing filter

I no I just found an error or its the way I have installed it. I'm admin on it and when I log in I see the admin links in nav but when I click a link in nav the admin links disappear :S I have to log out and log back in to get the admin links :S

Anyways, you will probably have to re-install the panel (but I'll make it so you can backup your users, etc) as I'm recoding a lot of things so it's best to have a new DB.

I'm currently re-writing most of the things which allow users to input data, this is to fix any exploits :)
