Ugh another one of these...I have 360, love playing it, it's fun but to be quite honest I the Wii is the better console, 360 games take me 2-3 days to complete and the only thing that keeps you on the game is to try get all the achievements
The Wii may not have the multiplayer the 360 has as it's only just got a multiplayer game but the games are longer lasting, you get some exercise playing it and the games are fun, 360 games are just the same as they've always been but better graphics and different storys, the Wii has unique games that have changed how games are played, 360 hasn't done anything except completly kill the purpose of playing games by adding Gamerscore, alot of people are too focused on getting a game getting all the points and that's it really

I myself would go for the Xbox 360 as I am a more serious gamer rather than "fun" gamer.

Well that's just a website that's about the wii and the 360, that's hardly choosing which console you think is best? :S

I looked on a game review site and I found this:

Wii Supurb/Great Games
16

360 Superb/Great Games
53

360 right now is better because it has a bigger selection of great games (been out a year longer tho) but Wii will prob catch up next year

I agree with Neil's first post. My brother has a 360 and I have a Wii. They're both great consoles, but I prefer the Wii. Once it's got some more decent games (Super Smash Bros. Brawl :P) I think the Wii will catch up to the 360.

Its said the 360 has more 'serious' games and the wii has more 'fun' games but I dont understand. The whole point of playing a console is to have fun.

"Serious" games are fun because they are challenge. What they mean by "fun" games are things like wii sports or mario games.

Yeah.

Wii and xbox 360 are very different. Wii is going in another direction from the ps3 and xbox 360 so I don't see how anyone can compare them. It just depends what your after :).

Where is the dividing line between fun and serious? Because I find Zelda games a bit serious, but more fun? Maybe fun involves some sort of fiction in the game play. Like Xbox 360 games tend to focus around the real world such as real places like London, New York or Tokyo while Wii games focus around new, fictional worlds with fictional characters, as in, they have powers or skills which surpass any human being. These are games just for the Wii mind you, not games like Fifa Tennis or whatever (bad with sports).

I am with the Wii, as I find the look and feel of a game interesting and unique and fun, while with a PS3 or Xbox 360, they focus aroudn the same thing and feel less interesting.

tbh i think they are different consoles. comparing fanta to coke.

the wii is more interactive with the controller and stuff, whereas the 360 is more full-on gaming.

but thats my opinion anyway so i think both are equal.

Exactly, Wii is for more games like Mario and sports, whilst Xbox is for games such as Gears of war, halo, Fifa etc.

I prefer xbox 360.

Right now, the XBOX 360. Purely because the Wii is really lacking in good first party titles so far (no Mario, no Metroid, no Smash Bros etc.)

Fifa is coming out for Wii and the only reason that GoW and Halo arnt on Wii is because they're Xbox only games. You say Wii is for games like Mario and Sports. You do know that Fifa is a sport game, right? Also, If the Wii is just for Mario and Sports, care to explain why the following titles are either coming out for Wii or are already out? - Call of Duty 3, Far Cry: Vengeance, Guitar Hero III, Manhunt 2 (not coming out for 360), Medal of Honor: Vanguard, Prince of Persia: Rival Swords, Project H.A.M.M.E.R. (Only for Wii), Red Steel (Only for Wii), Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Sadness, Soul Calibur Legends, TNA iMPACT!, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 and many many more. By the way, I can actually only think of 6 games coming out for the Wii at the moment that are Mario based. What I'm trying to say is, the Wii has a wide variety of all games. Not just 2 genres. I wish people would just accept the fact that the Wii is much more than just Mario.

The Wii's still outsold the XBOX and PS3, which is funny.

My brother has all three. :S

I prefer the PS3 though.

Due to the success of the Wii, most developers are now taking into account what they didn't originally expect to, so they're developing the same game for each console but making use of each's unique features.

SmackDown vs. RAW 2K8 is going to rule. Too bad iMPACT! will probably blow.

A lot of games xD I'm getting a Wii at some point in the future, a PS3 in a year or 3..Wii first because it's cheap as hell and fun, 360 games are hardly a challenge, I complete most in like 2 days

I'm pretty sure the 360 is outselling Wii still

I bought an Xbox 360 for one thing, online play, and to be honest their service is vastly superior to anything else. The Wii just isn't for me, but i'm not knocking it, i've played my mates, and it's great fun. Just not summet i'd buy.

The 360 Is Better For Online Play..
The Graphics Are Better Aswell..

The Wii Is Ideal For Multiplayer.. But NOT Online..
Wii Is Ideal For Family Gaming Etc..
