Well this afternoon I create a simple script which I thought I would share with people which basically goes to a directory and gathers all the "media files" in the directory.

By media files I currently mean image files and wmv and mp4 but im going to add loads more file types tonight and then when you click on the link it displays the file so in the case of an mp4 file you view it through the quicktime plugin.

Later on im also going to add features such as download etc.

Firstly though I need a favour im on a linux system so its compressed as a .tar.gz so could anyone create a .zip file and post it here because thats easier for windows users.. or pm with details on creating a .zip file on linux. Im sure theres a way I just havent looked hard enough.

Anyway: http://www.freewebs.com/multimediabrowser/filemanager.tar.gz (http://www.freewebs.com/multimediabrowser/filemanage.tar.gz)

To configure just edit the relevant variables in config.php its all straight forward.

P.s Sorry about the gay download location but I couldnt find any file uploaders supporting .tar.gz.

C+C plz.
