Did you upgrade to PHP5? If you did you probably need to edit the configuration for Apache so it uses the new modules.

Or you could use a software which has them all in and requires 1 install:

Login to shell and run:
/scripts/easyapache
Then when it asks for you to choose which way to update or modify the configuration type "6" or Advanced configuration
Then select PHP and select the configuration of 5.0 or higher. Then add anything else that needs compiling into PHP then finalize the configuration. PM me if you need me to do this for you. :)

lol what have u changed?
Uninstall everything, then install WAMP sever like tom posted, MySQL didnt when I had xampp, uninstalled everything (MySQL, xampp etc) and installed wamp and it worked and it has PHP5 ^_^
Edit: and localhost's mysql databases have no password, i think, it dont for me
