Headaches... dehydration?

I've been getting a lot of headaches recently, summers starting to heat up now and its around 110F, which is around 43C

I know I have to drink more than I would in the UK because of the heat, I probably drink about half a liter of water a day, yet i've been getting a lot of headaches, my mum said its likely that i'm not drinking enough... do you think this could be the reason? And if so, how much should I drink?

i used to get this when i was on holiday, even if your not feeling thirsty - drink.
i'd say more then 8 glasses of water a day.

the tap water here is DISGUSTING though, it totally puts me off drinking it, and i don't want to spend a fortune on bottled.

You have to drink AT LEAST 1.5-2 litres a day in the uk.. so there... must be about 5 :]

i dont drink enough water at all. i dont even think i drink a litre a week tbh. i always get headaches and my doctors say thats prob the reason, because i dont drink enough. so ive started to drink more water.

cant you add juice to the tap water to maybe make it taste better?

If ur pee is dark yellow then your dehydrated.

Foreign water never does taste the same.

In Singapore, its hot too. I suggest about 10 cups of water a day. That's what I drink, sometimes even more.

Hmph.. the musty water is filtered, it tastes even worse when it's not..

I swear it smells of fish, so I have to hold my nose when I drink it haha (i'm seriously not joking)
