Making teeth whiter.

Hello everybody :)

To tell you the truth, I dont have very white teeth. I brush them reguarly, but I want to make them whiter. Apparently, getting Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda to make a paste and using it aswell as toothpaste makes teeth whiter, but it can be harmful as it wears away enamel. How can you make teeth whiter without it wearing away enamel? And nothing too expensive please :P

Like colgate whitening.

yeah, getting your teeth whitened isn't cheap you know (at the dentist).

I'd buy one of those kits where you make a paste up with things that come with it, put it in a tray for your teeth and put it in for 30 mins..

to tell you the truth, thier is no cheap alternative. Most of the cheap products on the markt dont even work. If you want to get them whitened, get it done professionally

depending on how "off white" they are, i would recommend talking to your dentist first. he/she will be able to give you the best advice on what to do.

for now, id probably go for buying toothpaste which claim to make teeth whiter, like the colgate one :)

go to ur dentist and ask for advice, go to ur local chemist or supermarket and check for toothpastes or products which whiten your teeth without wearing the enamel.

I drink a LOT of tea and coffee and my teeth are still reasonably white.

You could always try asking the dentist to do a little bit of scrape on the teeth with that evil drill tool.

On of my front middle tooths is half brown/yellow as My mum had an infection at the wrong time while I was still developing, next year my dentist will corwn it.

Crown means they make the tooth a stump and then they put a fake one over it, it feels and looks like a real white one :) - And then they can match it with all my other teeth =] - Cant wait, but I'm not to sure on how they will do it :S

The only thing you can do really for a good chance of them turning out properly is getting them done professionally. Nothing comes cheap these days.
