Paranoia?

I think I have a form of Paranoia.. I think that when someone looks at me they're talking about me, I have to dress perfect, not look stupid, I can't even be myself. If someone glances at me then talks I think it's about me. I always feel as if someone is out to get me and live in constant fear of certain people, I have no idea why. I don't know why I feel like this, or why I think that way, I dunno what to do about it. Help?

I think people are looking at me sometimes aswell, and caring about your apperance is normal - I think your ok, the more you think your paranoid, the more paranoid you will get :)

Has their been a case where someone/something has been said behind your back? Ie rumours?
I'm not 100%, but I think like if a rumour goes around/has been around, and it has been the case people have spoke about you, it can kinda stick in your mind.

Paranoia is a serious mental conditon and doesn't sound anything like what you suggest. We all feel the same way sometimes. Its more about lack of condfidence in ourselves at certain. Unless something really bad has happened to you in your life I think that it is just a normal part of growing up.
If something real bad has happened then you could be reacting to it in this way.

Well, if you curently take drugs. STOP. That would be the main cause of paranoia. You may have some sort of chemical imbalance that can be controlled with prescribed drugs. See your doctor and tell him how your feeling.

Its pretty normal to be self concious but you shouldnt let it control your life. If you feel that this paranoia is stopping you be yourself then you should speak to somebody about it.
