I am making a website and I need to use layers to hold text infront of an image but in different sized browsers they don't stay where I want them to. It also happens when the browser is not maximised on my laptop. It isn't just the browser I'm using it's also like this in FireFox.

I need to know how to get a layer to stay still/snap it to the image I put it infront of.

Please could you help! +rep

That doesn't work, all that is is a simple div with a background image, your html skills are also not really that good "/

I have a layer and I want to be able to anchor it down! I don't know why opensourcehost moved this thread to coding as it isn't a code I need. I think it's some kind of tool in dreamweaver that I need to find but can't!

I really have no idea, all i know is that it moves to be in that position on the screen no matter what sreen size you have or if you minimize it "/ I'm using a 19" widescreen (or I think I am, it's a pretty big screen for a laptop and it's most certainly wide) and on all the computers in my school which are mostly 14" it comes up all wrong, here's my not very well coded layout: click here (http://www.dansdiscos.co.uk/lightning-host)
