I did AQA double award higher, it was pretty easy except for a 6 mark monster at the end on nitrification or something.

was the one where you had to find out the probability of the kid having blue or brown eyes. i struggled with the one about the motor neurone too, totally forgot that the bit in the middle was the axon.
what did you put for the word equation for the oxyheamoglobin question?

ohh, gene one was probability of a half that kid had blue eyes you had to do a punnet square thing
bit in middle was the axon :P
and word equation you had to put:
oxyhaemoglobin = oxyen + haemoglobin, which was pretty easy]
i jsut being checking for some answers that i remembered and i made loads of silly mistakes like on the tissue culture one

ah reet, got that one wrong then, i ended up putting.. glucose + oxyheamoglobin --> lactic acid + carbon dioxide lol.
think i got the tissue culture one right, i put.. where you scrape some cells of a plant that you want to clone. you put these cells in a pot with nutrients and make sure no harmful bacteria gets to it.
those questions about ideas and evidence in science are pathetic, but they are easy so no point complaining.

this is why i did the easy one (:

lol, i got everything righ on the tissue culture but i said you take a cutting instead of the cells part, so i should get some marks on it
the ideas and evidence ones annoy me too, and theres tonnes of them on chemistry paper :P

I was happy with this exam (OCR higher). After getting worried about Mitosis and all that rubbish, it didn't even appear on the exam.
Even the genes questions weren't all that bad, well..apart from the last two.
