Hurt my wrist

well I was playing football today. The keeper had the ball and did a drop kick except i was infront of him and he scuffed the kick and it hit my wrist and bent it back. I spent the afternoon in student services, the woman there said it probably wasnt a break, although most likely ligament damage. I have it in a bandage and we were going to go to A and E but we're going to see how it is in the morning. I sorta have a dull throbbing pain and the base of my thumb and wrist are really tender and I cant move them :(

Sounds like it's just swollen, did you actually have an X-ray as it's possible it could be a hair line fracture.

Sleep over night, see how you feel, if it is still bad then probably just a slight swolen/damage situation.

If i was you, yes go to A n E in the morning, just to be on the safe side :D

we're going this afternoon, its worsened overnight so we thought it best to go just incase. typing with one hand atm :(

well we went to the doctors to see if it would be worth waiting for hours at a & e and she said it wasnt a break although possibly a hairline fracture. she said they probably wouldnt xray it and that i should rest it. she said it was probably a really hard knock that bruised the bone or something like that. I wanted a cast aswell ;[

just rest take it easy & i would have said get some ice on it at first but its probably too late for that now :P
