Does anybody know how and where to download Playstation One Games from and burn them to disk?

My playstation one is chipped so it can read CD-R disks, but I was wondering if you can download them and put them onto disks from the net.

+rep to anyone who can help me :) I really really want Bomberman World!

You might be able to download games from http://www.mininova.org (http://www.mininova.org)/ not sure though.

If you can you'll need bittorrent or something first http://www.bittorrent.com/ (http://www.bittorrent.com/)

Do you reckon when I torrent it to my computer and burn it to a disk it will then work on my Playstation?

Woo, something I know something about!

Unfortunately it is very unlikely that you'll ever find any free PS1 games (or ISO images) on the internet, for two reasons.
1. The time it takes to upload a game from a disk to the PC is so stupidly long no-one can be bothered with it and
2. People who can be bothered with it usually charge for it.

If you see a site offering free PS1 games they'll either be cheap budget games or a virus.

Well on one of the sites above I found a ISO file of a game, will that work or just be a virus?

If you burnt it to a disk it SHOULD work, I wouldnt put money on it though. Im surprised it is actually around!

So I just burn it as an ISO and put it in and it works? I thought I would need to convert the ISO into like a normal format?

this is something i know plenty about here ;)

Go to www.pspiso.com (http://www.pspiso.com) OR www.projectpsp.com (http://www.projectpsp.com) and register.

Look in the PSX Eboot section (this is for psp) and find the game you want and download it. The game should come in a .RAR file and be called EBOOT.PBP, extract it into a folder with the name of the game.

Then download IceTea - http://dl.qj.net/IceTea-v1.3-General-Apps-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/12556/catid/151

Extract IceTea and run the .exe. Then got to the Eboot menu and select "Extract PSX ISO from Eboot". Browse and select your game then click extract.

Then you can burn your game ISO to CD using Nero or a similar program.

Dude, theres ISOs for everything, PS2 games, 360 games, xbox games.
Google "torrentspy"

Just burn the iso's and it will work.

I know that this thread is old now, but thanks to everyone who helped. I have downloaded Digimon World 2 which I lost years ago, and it works!

I hope to do a few others in the future :)

I think I've given everyone rep so thanks :)
