our OCR course did both papers in one exam <33333333
I did the intermediate after some consideration over doing the higher.
I thought id have more of a chance getting a B on the intermediate than i would on the higher.
And i thought the intermediate was ok, nothing that i couldnt do on it.

SAME<333333
i did edexcel higher and it was alrightt
I did edexcel higher, and found it hard.
i got the stupid 1st q wrong and it was adding ratios, 5 +3 and i got 7 :(
struggled a lottttt.
Soka what did u get from what you remember, if that makes sense.
I might resit.

Did OCR intermidate. fairly simple

i can remember these, they're not in the same order as one on paper
- ratio q - spilt into 8 parts so answer was 3 times 91 = 273volume one
- volume of cone = 209 cm cubed
- the mean from the table = 88.6 seconds
- algebraic fractions x = 3 or x = -1 [got this wrong i think]
- probability q = 36/49
- early speed q = 400km/h
- cosine rule q = 6.something cm
- the simliarity qs first part = 8cm, 2nd part = 6 cm
- tv pythagorous = 54 cm
- sequence one = 3n - 1
- trial and improvement, x = 3.2
- proportions part 1: f = 25x, part 2: x = sumit cm, part 3: s = 300 N
- burger and bun one, 3 bun packs, 5 burger packs
- upper and lower bounds one, part c and d u did higher divided by lowest, and lowest divided by highesst
- interest one, u got 2348 pound or sumit like that, and took the original amount (2000) away to get 348.48 or something
thats all i remember :P
cant believe there was no circle theorems or translations :(
i didn't have a clue on the last question
i can remember these, they're not in the same order as one on paper
- ratio q - spilt into 8 parts so answer was 3 times 91 = 273volume one hah i got number one wrong, but ill get the method marks :)
- volume of cone = 209 cm cubed yay
- the mean from the table = 88.6 seconds yay
- algebraic fractions x = 3 or x = -1 [got this wrong i think] not a clue what you are on about, ooh yes i do know, but i couldnt do it.
- probability q = 36/49 ah :( i turned it into decimals and probs got it wrong.
- early speed q = 400km/h hmm not sure, but i think i put about 400, not exact though :(
- cosine rule q = 6.something cm errr not even sure what that question was.
- the simliarity qs first part = 8cm, 2nd part = 6 cm yay i think
- tv pythagorous = 54 cm yeppo.
- sequence one = 3n - 1 yah, i was surprised they didnt do a hard nth term q.
- trial and improvement, x = 3.2 yeeppp
- proportions part 1: f = 25x, part 2: x = sumit cm, part 3: s = 300 N hmm
- burger and bun one, 3 bun packs, 5 burger packs yeah
- upper and lower bounds one, part c and d u did higher divided by lowest, and lowest divided by highesst i was such a loser, i couldnt remember what an upper bound was.. whats the upper bound of 100? and the lower bound of 12.52?
- interest one, u got 2348 pound or sumit like that, and took the original amount (2000) away to get 348.48 or something yay
thats all i remember :P
cant believe there was no circle theorems or translations :(
i didn't have a clue on the last question
Oh so i got some then. and i think i got 350N for the proportion q :(
Err do you remember what you got for like the wweight loss club thing?
And i didnt get the last one either. I tried all sort of things, i think i got 5.1 or something erm.
everyone said it was easy. but hmm, ahh well =]

The trial and error question; which was 3.2, I spent 20 minutes at the end getting into more depth and thus, finishing with like 8 decimal places (I hadn't read the 1d.p. thing) LOL!

I had the AQA Higher paper 2 ... well easy. finished it in 25 minutes and sat there checking over it like 100000000 times.
Edexcel higher, was pretty easy :).
