It's not like weed actually has any chemically addictive properties, though. So when you all talk about quitting or the like it's rubbish. It can only be psychologically addictive and the withdrawel symptoms are smiliar, usually less concentrated, to that of smoking cigarettes. If you don't want to smoke it, don't.

I personally like a smoke every now and then, prefer it when I'm drinking but I don't mind either way. I'm just out for a laugh.

Aside from the mental side effects caused by long-term use, cannabis is relatively harmless. Supposedly one of the safest drugs that's easily available.

Most things like that're propaganda used by those opposed to the legalisation of cannabis. Different studies have had different results, so the whole thing's still a little hazy.

Most of my friends don't do it, some do. It dont bother me but I wouldn't want to try it.

Marijuana its self does not actually cure cancer, cancer patients simply smoke the dug to reduce nausea and pain. :)

Many people believe that marijuana isn't addictive at all. So people smoke it without worrying about the effects it could have. As someone posted above i forget where too lazy to look, marijuana is mentally addictive as it has no addictive chemicals found in it, unless you clip it with tobacco or whatever, but were talking about it as a pure substance i guess.

Cigarettes and alcohol are a lot worse for you than marijuana is. It hasn't been proven that marijuana can cause cancer. If anything it'll just make you dumb in the long run. Cigarettes will give you cancer if you keep smoking them and alcohol can cause liver damage, and you probably won't feel too good the next day. But the next day after smoking weed just feels refreshing.

Depends how much you smoke lol, i went through a phase of smoking it in most lunch breaks in college and then all weekend, but that was only for a few months, loads of people smoke it every weekend but when you start hilusinating like my friend did and started running home as pink elephants were chasing her, then you should stop :p
