i have a peice of paper in my hand stating blockbuster has issued me a 12 month guarentee on my 360. i showed them (because mine broke) they said it was a 6 month guarentee. (7 months since i got it.)

luckily i had a really nice person when i rang microsoft and hes sending me a new part.

Argos are the same, after 16 days your guarentee is with Microsoft & not the shop.

i know but the shop gave me an insureance (sp?) thing and it magicly changed from 12 months too 6

I bought a Wii from them, it works fine.. And i got a 12month guarantee on paper.

yep. got it on my message board in my room. along with all my other important stuff. so yeh, 12 months changed to 6
