What do you do.. (for people who havnt came out)

Hey, I'm just wondering what you lot do if a straight guy (or girl) asks you stuff like "Omg, would you have sex with him/her?" and they don't know your gay.

When this happens to me I get dead nervous. It's usually my brothers friends who ask me and because I havnt came out to my family (and wont be doing so for a long time) they havn't a clue I'm gay.


Also, this is just annoying me atm. Why do people automatically think gay people love shopping? I HATE IT!!

How old are you, your brother & his friends, as that could be a part of why they are stereotyping you.

As for the question if I was gay I would say something along the lines of "I'm not thinking about that yet." but I believe it would be best for you to come out.

If you are around 13 then you most probably don't know what you want so just give it time before you class yourself as gay.

I'm 15 and I know I'm gay. My brothers are very homophobic though so I thought of coming out to my family when I have a choice of not living with them :)

Just tell one of your parents which ever you feel comfortable with that your gay, and that you odn't want your brother to know as he's a bit of a prat? :)

Well, if they can't accept you for who you are then they aren't very good brothers tbh.

My brother does this to me aswell. I tend to feel uncomfortable, but I either ignore it or try to change the subject.

Like aflux said above, if your brother can't accept you for who you are, they aren't very good brothers.

I think they have an idea I am because they have seen stuff *cough* lmao and havnt said anything about it I just feel that they'll pick on me even more than they do now (they're chavs and I'm not)

when they ask you awkward questions give it a nod of the head or what not until you are cumfterble with what you are. i mean ... why is it that every asumes that young lads would be intrested in girls ? it built in to be automatic that everyone is str8 obv but.. its really not the case ...

i mean now i laugh about my str8 boy days the things i used to say and do so my cover wouldent be blown ha ha its actually scary

and the thing "all gay men like shopping ? " okay thats the nieve point of view that all gay men also wear handbags and high heals

the way i think of myself is i am a man that fancys other men not a woman trapped in a mans body

but to be fair i do like shopping... ha ha

I've only told like 4 of my friends...
They don't act any different towards me.
We have a little laugh && Joke about it sometimes.
I don't think i could come out to certain people though.
Cause i know they'd tell EVERYONE, and i'd get crap from
people cause they're so immature in my year.
