Hiii just wondering if this rule is still in place

A6. Do not post your or anyone Else's photo anywhere on the forum - The reason for this is yours and others own safety as some people may start stalking you or bothering you in other ways.

A certain person posted a picture of himself in a thread open to anyone to rate it or w/e but wasn't closed until he requested it - does this mean that you are allowed now at your own risk and the rules havn't been updated or the staff didn't see the thread before it was requested to be closed by him - but I doubt it since it was open for awhile.
Thanks,
Aight.

As far as im aware, the rule is you can post links to yourself, but not enclose them in the IMG tag.

This is so that Habbox cannot take responsibilty for pictures being shown on the forum, and we cannot take responsibility for external links, meaning that you can link someone off the forum with a picture of yourself, just not display it.

So I can post a link to Imageshack just so not it's visible on the forums? How come this "person" posted a direct image and was not approached about it.

I still don't get why you would want to post a picture of yourself on the forum anyway?

I'm not planning on doing it - but I was just wondering since there was a thread which involved somebody posting a direct image of themselves and was not closed.

As far as I am aware you can post a link, as you can post a link to myspace which has photos of yourself on.

As for the thread I cannot answer that, if the post was reported a moderator should have seen it, or seen it by looking around the forum. However, moderation isn't my place on this forum so I can't tell you what happened.

You can post it from your photobucket or onto a link on your myspace or something, but not directly into the codes. But I don't know how it's for our own safety? Who's gonna see a picture and know where that person lives. Thinkhabbo allows people to post pictures of themselves.

The Moderator's probably didn't notice it. You're not allowed to do that, but you're allowed to post a link as people have said.

When a rule is updated/removed they announce it.

The rule A6 is still valid, you can't post an image of yourself or anyone else on the forum. However you are allowed to link to an image. This link is not appart of the forum, it is an external link, therefore the rule is perfectly fine.

Thanks for clearing that up J1MI :)
