Hi all
Remember a few months ago when I said I had a big headache above my left eye? Well I took medication and it went away, but now it has came back again and it hurts SO BADLY!
Mum says its eye strain but the pain of that is behind the eye, right? Not above it?
Is it serious if I took medication and it hasnt gone? What can I do :(
Thanks for all help,
:sean

First off, give the computer a break. And are you still taking medication? Also, talk to your doctor about it. They will know all about the problem and if they don't the hospital/ a specialist can be called in. So just go to the professionals and get it sorted ;)

Medication ended a while ago, and I should give the PC a break I guess :)

Don't just take a break of half an hour or something - avoid the computer for the most amount of time possible at the moment. If you can, even days!
I think you may have some problems with eye strain due to your use of the computer, which may require you to get some glasses or adequate eye protection. I'd say go to your opticians rather than the doctors, and just get yourself to get a check up.
You often get head-aches due to computer use resulting in eye strain.

I so agree.
When i get a headache its mostly caused by the computer.

I saaaaay... Migraine maybe? Go away from the computer, go lay down in a dark room, where its nice and cool... Take some pain killers if you have any, if not crappy parocetomol will have to do, drink plenty of water... Keep a bucket at the side of the bed incase, and try to get some rest

if it is caused by computers (remember it could be dehydration related, make sure your drinking enough water.) make sure that your screen does not have ANY glare from lights etc, this is a huge problem i have because i move from computer to computer during the day, (i know keep strong painkillers on me at all times incase i get one)
headaches can also be caused because your straining the eye muscle by looking at the screen, try looking at things that are far away

My advice would actully would be, what I do when I have a headace, Go to your room, or if your in the room, turn of all electrical things, even your phone, Turn the light of, shut the curtains, make it as dark as you can, And take a paracetamol, then take a nap, when you wake up if you still have a headace, take a bath.shower, once your've done that take another sleep.

Oh well my old moniter used to give me really bad headaches :p
Like everyone else is saying take a day off the computer and next time you use your laptop makes sure your eyes are a good distance away from the screen

Don't worry, it isn't neuralgia, I was just joking.
