I think the Ps3 is awsome .... its funny how when ever I tell people I have one they get all stressed and feel the need to tell me how much better the 360 is when to be honest I don't give a flyin monkeys back side. Yaya I see, and Sony has made mistakes. I mean, 360 has had about a year to improve on things. Sony has no excuse to not improve on graphics, Blu-Ray has incredibal storage so alot of detail can be put into a game. The PS3 is also extreamly powerful. Did you know the 360 is 3x more powerful then the PS2, and the PS3 is 10x more powerful then then 360 (I read that in a newpaper btw). I think with a little more experiance, PS3 can greatly improve.

The 360 can connect to home computer to play music, videos and view pictures and it has MSN, I seriously doubt PS3 has all of that?

The PS3 looks stupid, I can't comment on the loudness of a PS3 as I've not played one, and the 360 powerpack may be massive but at least the console doesn't weigh loads, the PS3 powerpack inside the console, hm..Probably the same size but now the console is heavy.

And you can't really call 360 fanboys anything because you're probably the biggest PS3 fanboy I've ever seen.

Yea but in that picture the stuff isn't that far away, you'll still be able to see it quite clearly, Crackdown has perfected distance, if you stand on one island and look to another you can hardly see detail, just the building, lights from cars and maybe if you look hard you can see people walking around.

Yh, but the lack of a built in Hd Drive limits the ammount of data on the disc. So with bluray games can be bigger, better and have more in them where as xbox will be stuck with there measly 9 GB discs

The only problem with 360 is the hardware failures I think, everything else is perfect, it's just that

And the 360 doesn't need to connect to a PC either, it's just another way you can, so if you have movies on the PC you can watch them you're your TV through your 360

my dad went a brought a ps3 last week (he also has 360). he played on it for a few days and hasnt been on it since. and dont say anything about games being crap ones. he brought (motorstorm, resistance blah blah, fight night, vt3). i have played on it too and i dont see why fan boys wanna stick up for it. its about the same as the 360 or below.
i bet someone will say im a fan boy now because i have a 360..well im not, i enjoy gaming for gamings sake not for having a better console than someone else.

The 360 has been out a lot longer and so developers have a lot more experience with the console, therefore games are bound to look a lot better. Also a lot of PS3 games right now are ports of 360 versions and so their graphics do not necessarily represent the power of the machine. If you compare 360 launch titles to 360 launch titles, there's clear evidence that the PS3 games look much better. You could argue in that instance that PS3 launch titles are bound to look better given the launch delays.

It's a vicious cycle of crappy arguments.

Ultimately in the long run the PS3 has more raw processing power and is going to be able to produce better graphics. However the triple-cored 360 is going to mean it can give developers scope to use more advanced A.I.

The only decent post in this thread. I'm not a playstation fanboy, but if you take a game released exclusively on the ps3 and a game released exclusively on the xbox 360 (Or just one which hasn't been ported) you will see that the graphics on the ps3 are unrivaled by the 360.

You're right, although "unrivalled" might be the wrong word. The difference will become evident, but as of yet it isn't--Gears of War is probably still the best looking console game ever (Motorstorm does look good, but I still think it's not as good as Gears). The graphics gap isn't really that huge either, the PS3 has an edge over the 360 by about the same amount that the Xbox had over the PS2.

Oh, and in my last post I meant "If you compare 360 launch titles to PS3 launch titles", not "360 launch titles to 360 launch titles" :P

This thread was purely aimed at the guys that say the PS3 is better, bigger and badder than the XBOX although these statistics prove that it is not.

Make your own judgements on which is the better console, but you can't fiddle with facts - that's just silly.

If there were less fanboy's and more people liking the console because, they like it then the gaming world would be a much better place.

I think my point has been made and other people have posted their point of view as well.
