tourism is one of britains biggest incomes probably, so i can't see the goverment trying to stop as many people from visiting the uk soon.

the uk needs tourists to come to the uk for holidays etc. to keep the uk economy up. otherwise the multiplier effect wouldnt occur, or it would but not be on a scale where it should be.

I think you are confusing immigrants to tourists. Immigrants come and live here and Tourists visit here for holiday. I don't see them as a problem.
