your worst holiday

like ostinatos thread, post where you have gone on holiday which was your worst holiday and why.

mine was when i went to costa blanca and we only went sc and it was awful. we stayed in some apartment place, the pool was freezing, no entertainment, full of old people and was just generally crap. ive been to other sc which were totally opposite to the one stated above, and that was very good.

probably when i went to lanzarote. was pure sunny and hot when we got there. then when we went out for a meal on the night, it started ******* it down and thunder & lightning. all the roads were flooded on the way back and when we opened the door to the villa, that was partially flooded too. so we had to move into some crappy villa and had no electricity for a week.

Switzerland, The hotel was soo nice, like, modern, but that's it, I didn't enjoy the rest of it (bar the food, it was good), because I couldn't speak french at the time, it was more of a "scenic" holiday, there weren't any activities.

Turkey..

Hotel was nice and clean and all that, but the turkish people where horrible.. Plus, I didn't like the country at all - How can they get away with charging £10 to get in, lol.

Then what topped the whole lot off, is we was flying with a turkish airline with a pilot that proberbly had 2 minutes of training - Yeahhh, ended up with an emergency landing at Manchester because of his stupid stunts.

it was ok, but it seemed a little odd that we were the only ones staying there in the summer..

i would just be so angry if when i went on holiday it rained all day. the most its rained while ive been on holiday is only around 2 days.

I've not had a bad holiday.. but last year when I went to Costa De Almeria in Spain, a grid was not stable, I stepped on it, and hurt myself. On that same holiday I neally got hit by a table cos it was windy.

And when I went to Costa Dorada, my mum and I went on a day trip somewhere, and my mum nearly got robbed, but some man stopped him cos we realised what he was doing lolol.

But also when I was moving back to England, we were delayed ages cos it was snowing and dead icey in Zurich, so yeah, and all I had on was a short sleeved top, so yeah.

all of the holidays i've been on have been ok, apart from select moments from each.

when i went on a boat trip from zante - kefalonia in greece it was awful LOL, i thought i was gonna die cos da sea was so rough >:{!

My holidays haven't been too bad, I guess.
There was one time in France where there were no hotels or anything to stay in for the night. We were driving for hours, just trying to get in and every hotel said there are no rooms ANYWHERE in this city. Finally my dad gave up and parked in a carpark somewhere and we slept there. Funny thing was, my parents and brother and sister all thought it was REALLY uncomfortable, but I slept like a dead bug. I was tiny then though so I could hunch myself into a tiny ball and fall asleep.

Another time was when me and my sister jumped into a swimming pool and we got an ear infection. We went to the hospital place and we had to have medicine and ear drops which were horrible. For the rest of the holiday we couldn't put our heads under the water and we hardly went in the pool. For me it was incredibly hard not to put my head under the water because the pool was so deep I couldn't touch the bottom anyway.

ive been abroad 34 times and the only one time was in crete
the hotel was 5 star and amazing
gawjus and the restaurant was posh and to die for food.
but the only thing was it was lyke in the middle of no where.
so we came home 1 week early.
and went to majorca for the next 2 weeks instead.

Went to Crete last year and it would quite desolate where we were.
I remembered another bad holiday!!
Last year in Crete we found loads of stray dogs and cats EVERYWHERE (we even saw one in the airport!). Anyway being an animal lover I just couldn't help but stroke them. I caught a fungus off them called ringworm (nope it isn't a worm!) and I had to have cream for it. Although technically, it wasn't that bad and I didn't have to have the cream on holiday. I was infectious though ;)

etc.

Probably when I went to the South of France, it was cold, the pool was closed the whole time, boring. And we drove there from England, so like 15 hour drive each way -.- Good thing was we came back 3 days early :D

And when I went to Greece in 05. It was just like, proper boring.

Two years ago, in the middle of bingo (typical), I couldn't breathe, and was like rolling around on the floor. They took me to hospital and I had some stomach infection.

when i went to turkey, the apartment was fine and all that, but when you went into a bar and when you came out you had all the other bar owners mithering you to go into their bar, which was really annoying.

Also my mum turned ill over the holidays so we barely went anywhere, plus i wasnt expecting the weather to be as hot as it was, at least i got a tan lmao.
