My mum told me that a few kids on Bebo have been giving instructions on how to hang yourself for people that said that something was wrong. She also told me that in the past couple of weeks, a few children have already hung themselves.

What are your views?

Hanging yourself is....wrong? :S

Views on what, the fact they're hanging themselves or that they're getting tinstructions on how to do it?

Either way if people want to kill themselves there's not much anyone can do.

No not that it's wrong. There were things going wrong for the children.

They should stop whining about how their parents don't listen to them and think about the hundreds of thousands of poeple starving to death in places like Africa.

"
Write a goodbye message to your friends, although, considering you're hanging yourself - you probably don't have any anyway so don't bother; just skip step 1."I can imagine it now.

Really this is not Bebo's fault. Obv the people who said it should be banned but it could happen on myspace or msn or any other forums/ chat teen based sites for that matter.

I agree this is wrong but not bebo's fault.

why would people encourage suicide anyway :S no matter what the situation, it can always be resolved.. chunk by chunk.

i dont think this has anything to do with bebo in particular, as others said people could post it anywhere. why they would want to, who knows :s my little brother uses bebo though so its a bit concerning that he could be reading stuff like that...

Again,

I think this is wrong, this ain't Bebo's fault. They can't keep checking through all the homepages looking for this matter. If you see it, report it, my motto.

Well, I find them pathetic. There are so many people in the world struggling to live, and there they are, throwing away their life just because of minor incidents.

Ugh, that's stupid.

People turn to suicide to fix their problems, but they don't realise that suicide isn't temporary.

castrate them.
I find it's the ultimate solution to anything.
plus its more fun than throwing them in jail.

If you think about it, suicidal people are going to be very impressionable and I don't see how can you can have a go at them and saying they are "out of order for wasting their lives", they are likely to be going through a really rough patch and if you look at these blogs, they are basically confirming the persons worst thoughts.. It's the sickos who make up these suicide websites and blogs who are the ones who really don't respect life.
