View Full Version : Selling My Wii Console

Okay, so I've decided to sell my Nintendo Wii as I don't go on it anymore. I got it for christmas and have only played on it about 4 times. It doesn't have any scratches on it and it works fine. It comes with Wii Sports, the nunchuk and remote controllers, all the manuals and the box, but now I just need a price to sell at. I got it for £220 but I sold Red Steel which came with it a few months back. So how much do you recommend I should sell it for? I'm thinking of putting it on eBay or in the Ad-Mag paper. All prices of recommendation will be appreciated.

Edit: I do not want people off the forum to offer me furni or paypal cash for it, as I only want prices to sell the console at, I'm not willing to let people off a forum buy it off me.

THREAD CLOSED AS I HAVE COME TO A CONCLUSION, THANKS TO ALL COMMENTS.

No thanks. I wasn't asking for people off the forum to buy it, I was asking for prices to sell at in the Ad-Mag paper or on eBay. I'm not trying to sell it for Habbo furni or anything.

LOL. right...

Anyway, apparently nintendo are shipping stock into the UK every week now, so it would be hard to get atleast £179.99 for it but you could always try putting it up on ebay for about £185 with £20/25 post & packaging.

Personally, I'd start the "auction" or whatever, at around £160, as Wii's are starting to come in Stock, so you'd be able to buy one if you walked into a shop.

You could also start at £170, but might not get a sell.

I'd sell it quick for £165 - £170ish.

i'd put a reserve on ebay of 150.00 quid if your planning to put it on there.

Lol, no wonder you haven't played on it if you only have Wii Sports and Red Steel. Trade it in a Gamestation, they will be happy to have it. ;)

What you could do is start the price at around £150, and stick a reserve on something around £170-180, which ever you want...

Just pack it back in it's box and say it's been played like once ever haha. Wii's arn't as expensive now, the fad has sort of faded off over here (Australia), so I'd check out a Cash Converting store and see how much you can get for it? Then put it up on Ebay / Tradingpost and see if you get more for it, but if it's just a couple of pounds more on Ebay don't bother, not worth the hassle, just go to a cash converting store and cash in, if you cba driving around ring them up and just explain and get an estimate on what they will offer. Hope I helped!

Thanks, I was thinking around that barrier of price. :) +rep

Yeah, that reserve does sound good since I wouldn't mind selling for that price. +rep

Lol, I went in Gamestation the other day and the cash they give for a Wii console is quite low, something like £110. +rep anyway.

Yeah, that's a good idea. :) +rep

I suggested taking it to the cash converters but my Mum was like, they might con you, so I'm not sure. I'll go in and ask them anyway, there is one in town, thanks +rep.

Dude, get some good games. I thought the Wii was rubbish at first, but now I love it. Get Zelda or Mario Football, and then there's great games coming out soon. Tbh you'll miss out.

Wayne

I was going to buy Mario Strikers and Melee but I'm not sure. I spend too much time on my PS2 and if I leave it too late and don't like the selection of games available in the future, the Wii's selling price would have decreased loads.

PS2's lifespan will run out soon. Then what will you turn too?

Wayne

I've already turned to some PS1 games for PS2, plus I doubt PS2 will run out shortly.
