No, from my post I'm saying in theory MAD shouldn't have the right to abuse his power and just ban someone who insults him, as everyoen should receive fair treatment despite who they are talking to. However, the fact that he may do so is another question and many users have claimed MAD has done so in his time.

I'm not disputing the fact MAD may have abused his powers and banned people simply for insulting him, but the way that guy was talking is as though he condones it and we arn't allowed to stand up to MAD because he's allowed to ban us or something. Fair enough he may do so - but that doesn't make it right.

I know some of you may find this hypocritical or may even think its because I am staff but I really think that we should give ---MAD--- a chance. When you think about it, the controversy of Catzsy etc allowed him to see his mistakes and try harder to ammend them. I honestly believe he has done that.

I just hope he isn't taking too much on. The other AGM's were also deserving but I don't think they were able to deal with the Habbox.com site side of things.

Rather than attacking him for something that has happened in the past why not be more forgiving and try and move on? Everyone deserves a second chance and this is ---MAD---'s and we should look forward to a new era on Habbox rather than moaning before its even begun.

Well the decision has been made and what Mal says makes a lot of sense.
It will be the actions rather than the talking that will show whether or not it is the right choice. He has always been a great organisor and ideas man so maybe the rest has now fallen into place as well. Only time will tell but good luck to him with his new post.

So why are you not banned atm then? We only ban people that break the forum rules. If you "speak against them" in an appropriate matter then its fine :). You don't need to be liked that much to run it, i wasn't particulary liked at ceartin stages lol and so weren't a few other high staff members. But if you get along with the members then its farrrrrrrrrrrrrr more easier.
