Hey guys.
As of yet I'm not going anywhere on holiday this summer as my mum just had a baby...
Anyway, me and my cousin were talking last night and were thinking of going away a wee week somewhere in July. I was looking on the teletext holidays website and there's some quite cheap last minute stuff.
So I was just wondering if anyone has ever went on one of these and whether or not they turned out alright... Also basically, just how they work in general lol.
Cheers :)

you can book via teletexts website instead of through your tv.
http://ww3.teletextholidays.co.uk/Holidays/Package_Holidays/
skytravel is also quite cheap
http://www.skytravel.co.uk/sky/
if you dont have a date in mind, Thomsons (http://www.thomsonauctions.co.uk/) do an auction website. its reliable and they are very cheap.
edit: i havent booked via teletext before but i dont think i would as i think you can get the same deals on their website. also if you book online, you sometimes get online discount.

Yeh I was meaning on the website, not the actual real teletext service itself, lol - come on I'm a bit more technologically advanced than that! :P haha

lmao. well the links i gave you, i have used the sites before for numerous holidays. if its just you and someone else and you are not too fussy about the board basis - then you can really get cheap holidays on those sites.

I went to spain on one and it was great. No problems at all exept a delay but that was nothing to do with the holiday. We was also talking to a family who went to the same holiday with the same airline and they paid nearly 3 times as much as us because they booked a year in advance.

I didn't go personally but my auntie and cousin went. Their holiday turned out to be the same place we went and they thought it was a good hotel etc. It was just a walk from the beach and they had no trouble from the holiday.

i havent booked via teletext, but i would suggest
www.lastminute.com or book a flight to wherever you want with ryanair/easyjet, and the book a hotel, i think that will work out cheaper in a way, depends on the destination aswell I believe..

Personally, We've have never booked with them.
But couple of mates have used them more than once with good deals/offers and they loved the holidays.
I would go for it unless you can get something cheaper!

Rent a car and go on a road trip and you’ll have all these adventures where you wake up in India and someone tries to eat you n unexpectedly u get adopted by aliens and you see your suddenly 90 years of age and u wake up and its all a hallucination k?
On topic: Try going somewhere far, as if its only you and your cousin it will be cool with nothing much to be concerned about as I imagine you both get along quiet fine, so try going somewhere where its truly diverse but you can have a superior time, and I don’t know where this post is going so erm, good night lolol.
