im a bit of a noob at FTp. All i know is it stands for file transfer protocol. How does it work :)?

basically its used as an access to a certain part of a host, you can upload to FTPs using an ftp uploader program which makes it easier and sometimes faster to uplaod to cpanel etc

Two ways i do it.

Frontpage

OR

Start > My network places > Add new network > The rest is on there for you.

You need to have frontpage extensions installed on your cPanel, to check login to cPanel and go to Frontpage exensions lol.

That's amazing, I loved it so much, trial ran out. If you could get me around it, please PM me I'd be very grateful.

CuteFTP is amazing but due to it's high price and 30 day trial I don't have it anymore.

I recommend FireFTP (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/684) it's not very well known. A add-on to Mozilla FireFox and it's SOOO simple and easy (a bit slow) and it's view on FireFox feature etc works well. Very easy and quick to use, since it's just like bringing up a new tab.

I just used to use the FTP Thingymajig built into dreamweaver... And sometimes just going to windows explorer and typing in the ftp://websiteaddress.tld etccccc
