When its lighting do you turn off your internet
i normally do i just wondered if other people did?

never switch nefing off, part frm lights... but thunder turns internet off every time it rumbles

nah, but my net kept on disconnecting yesterday in the thunder so i turned it off anyway

You should really turn all electricals off, i blew up my computer ones in a storm because it kept getting turned on and off by power cuts :P

if yo' on dial up you should, cause the thunder can like whip up your phone line and fry your pc.

Normally, we just turn of the computer not the TV or anything else. But like if it's unexpected then, of course no.

Uh-huh, you should really switch off your computer when there's thunder and lightning. I remember in the news something about a kid getting struck by lightning while on his computer, his whole roof blew off. I think it was in Dorset or something, but it did happen and I think the kid survived too... Just don't risk it really.

Nah, I leave everything on. We used to turn some stuff off but it doesn't lighten that badly here.

Bet you'd care if everything electrical in your house broke though :P
I usually turn off most things. Just leave the TV on. It can hit anyone, and is getting worse.
Someone up the road from my Gran got hit, everything in 3 houses went.
