To be honest, I'm not surprised but I'm really quite personally annoyed.

Big Brother was supposed to start months ago when the celebrity one was on and I was assigned as a housemate. There was one show then the person running it quit. After that we had numerous new people in charge of it until it was decided it would be put on hold until the real big brother started, giving the producers time to make it worthwile and actually decent. When big brother then started people enquired about it, and we were told it would begin the start of July.

Now it closes and it's scrapped?

Why bloody say you are going to run a show and continuously tell people it's running before closing it down?

HabboxTV has been a great part of Habbox since I've been a user which 8freak8 was trying to improve vastly. Although it's not everyones cup of tea (and not particularly my own) many people are attracted to Habbox for HabboxTV alone and a lot of people enjoy watching the programs etc.

I understand HabboxTV was getting quite crappy and had greatly gone downhill, but it just annoys me people who were told they would be contestants in the big brother show were constantly given empty promises now this happens. Quite dissapointed tbh.

You know although HxTV wasnt the best i'd rather tune in and watch a show on that than the shows on HabboTV or w.e you can it thease days,It always had better quality of shows rather than alot of shows which are totally crap.

No one's saying HxTV is crap, because it isn't! What I'm saying is, if the shows move to the main site, it'll most likely be more popular etc.

meh I saw this one coming even when I was assistant manager on hxtv. Its a shame really but what can you do when no one can be bothered to make shows. Alot of what Ostinato said about the Big Brother thing is true for most things. When I worked there certain staf members kept promising shows but never delivered. I personally think I gave all I could to HxTv when I was there with my Doctor Who shows because after that I kind of lost my imagination for shows.

Thats the trouble though everyone has shows on the way at the same time there wasn't enough balance of shows coming out and shows on the way. I'm not targeting you Scuba :) I'm disapointed because I was considering coming back for the summer but I guess that won't happen now :P

It's a shame that it went the way it did but I guess it lacked dedication and the management were just faced with problem after problem. It is a bit like the Titanic, when Billy left, it had just hit the iceberg. All the other manager had to hope with the flooding and in the end it sunk.

Disappointed to be honest but I guess these things happen. I mean, it survived longer than Habbox Hogwarts did.

Well, i always thought that Habbox was more famous for its rare values & help desk then it was for its HabboxTv. And, it didn't seem to get much attention in my opinion, and whenever i went onto it, the shows never worked, so it really isn't much of a surprise to me that it was closed.

But, then again, i didn't know much about it, so i can't really know if what i said is still true now, from when i did check.

I don't really know how much effort was put into attempting to reform HxTV before it was closed down, however I didn't see a noticeable effort (at least not an effort which lasted) so I think maybe attempts to make HxTV better before closing it down and upsetting staff would have been a more tactful approach rather than just closing it outright.
Nevertheless, I suppose you could say the closing down of HxTV was imminent regardless of how hard staff tried to change things, so I suppose MAD ultimately made a decision which he thought was right and it probably is x).
Either way, something had to be done and MAD did that something.

For me its quite sad lol becuase i can remember back in the 2004 when habbox had that simple layout you know the one like
