Habbo UK, a social networking site aimed at teenagers, has appointed former Emap creative solutions director Hussain Chowdhury as UK sales manager.
Chowdhury (pictured) will be responsible for overseeing advertising sales and creating interactive brand campaigns for Habbo.
He will report to former AOL UK commercial director Phil Guest, who joined as the regional director for Habbo Central Europe earlier this year

He has more than ten years experience in the media sector and working with major brands such as Adidas, Audi, Levi’s and Sony Ericsson.
Before joining Emap six years ago, Chowdhury held roles at CBS Impact Division as a special projects account manager.
Habbo launched seven years ago and has 78 million users signed up on its worldwide network.
Previous advertisers include P&G, Nike, Nokia, Coca Cola and Playstation.
