Scene/emo tops as in tops that are tight and have some depressing kind of image or something to do with a band or something along the lines of that?

English

Scene being a knock off of emo which everyone else wears. It's not too difficult seeing as it's called "scene"

i dont even know how that would work
i always thought if someone labelled themselves emo, it meant they were pretty scene
so what happens when someone labels themselves scene, what do they become?
the mind boggles

yeah, when people say a scene, it's like a style like emo or goth or chav, so what she's asking doesn't make sense. But i think what she meant is i don't know what to wear so will you show me where everyone else gets their clothes from

Nightrose

Slitttttttttt

Chavs are so much better than emos/scenes.

..... Chavs are just idiots in groups... who have god complex and require finanical aid to pay for their latest court appearence.

Emo and Scene are the 'Look at me' groups completly attension seeking always requring gratification from peers. whenever someone says 'I'm Emo or I'm Scene' it just comfirms it

personally i think you make the group not the group makes you so when your going out of your way to make yourself look scene or emo then your changing yourself for the wrong,

there is no group that under any sterrotypical description that fits me in.... so to all the emos and scenes and perhaps gothic groups.... whos truely unique

Hmm. Appears i've stolen your thread Sian *gives back*

Most of you're mixing the social groups of emo and scene up way too much. Clearly the idea of both is ridiculous, but putting them together and crossing them over is much worse.

Please, stop loosely banding people with terms you clearly don't understand.

For fashion, Topshop and H&M are your best bets. Especially since that's basically where most people shop. Though classing them as 'emo/scene' should be frowned upon. Just find clothing you like, regardless of how you can group it.

i'm not sure if they exist in the uk but

and @ all the people making a fuss about this "scene" bull, she really didn't ask for your opinion about her clothes now did she?
not that your opinions really would matter anyway.

no; people who label themselves "scene" are usually the people who think they've gone through an "emo" stage & now they are a higher sort of "emo" namely; "scene".

but; if you want "scene" t-shirts, there are actually loads of clothing companys on myspace. a good one that springs to mind is heroesdiefirst. they make some awesome t-shirts & hoodies and stuff. it's also pretty cheap, cause they're not like designer or anything. (:

You're from Birmingham and you come out with that?

Birmingham's scene's nothing like that. It's no higher form of 'emo' at all. Plus most of them haven't even gone through this 'emo' stage since it's become pioneered by 14 year old girls with not enough cleavage. So they haven't had the chance to cry and dye their hair black.

What you've just described is clearly a mislead 'emo' kid. Almost as bad as the 'emo'/'greeb' cross-overs I've seen on the canals. They're horrid.

because maybe she wants to wear it
like you said

she obv isnt just a loser trying to fit in, but she actually likes the clothes maybe?!

edit: ahaha i love the way ppl put scene and emo into little "apostrophe things"

Ye but wearing what everyone else wears is wearing what you want. if you go out looking for something that looks like something someone else wears you arn't buying things you generally wanted. Buy clothes you like, no whats 'scene' 'emo' 'chav' w/e
