I think, that the girl person is just really evil and stuff to her kid, and she does things and then blames them on the kid to get her way, but i only seen one episode with that, so i don't know really.

I'm watching it now, and she is rather scary.

Stella is incredibly cruel to Ben by using mind trickery to make Ben feel guilty for things he didn't even do. She thinks she's helping him, but she's not she's just being a nasty cow.
