everything was great, and there was "fads", pokemon etc which we're just cool at the time.

The thing I remember most about being a kid is surprisingly something called Beyblade :P
It's little tops that you designed and battled with. Man those were the days. I remember my school organised a beyblade tournament and I won ;p It was weird, but because I was a kid it wasn't embarassed. I used to pretend there was this thing inside it- a bit beast or something- and it was fun :P

Anyone else got any like, memories of toys that made their lives back then great? I know most of them will be pokemon but meh

i remember crazybones at my school, people used to buy them n put them in the free ariel bags you get with the tablets. we used to battle each other with them, each throwing one against the wall n the person with it closest to the wall kept them both. then some of the year 6's went round nicking other peoples and had like 300 crazybones each, so the school just banned them. :(

lol I went to toys r us when they were awesome and bought a japanese battle dome, its got an electric middle which spins two different ways depending on what you set it too :D and I got some rare metal ones and 2 completely see through ones(except the metal bit) from japan. And I came second in the cardiff beyblade tournament in "The Entertainer" lol, silly boy I was in the final with launched him on top of mine :(
