HabForum - Reopened

Welcome back to version 2.10 which is the newest of all versions and proberly the version which has had the most changes. With this version we have now made part of the new profiles, the new User CP, added a BRAND new shoutbox and included lots more things to make your visit as plesent as can be.

HabForum will also be hosting lots of competitions soon to make you have fun and possibly make you richer on Habbo UK to make your visit EVEN better! One of the competitions WILL be a referral competition and the prizes are planned to be fantastic however we are keeping it to ourselves for the time being http://www.habforum.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

So are you having fun, then why not invite all of your friends to the community to make it better for us all and if your not then why not make some suggestions to improve the forum in the Suggestions forum and we may even include them for you as the forum is designed for YOU! not me.

The skin is a rip off the old ''Mybobba".

Snex AKA Jabbaboy opened a forum with some other person, that other person had the Mybobba skin, then Snex went back to Habforum and used the skin and change a few colours.

Anyway he said a new skin is coming soon.

What on earth are you going on about. The MyBOBBA original skin didn't have that colour sceme at all and anyway it is getting removed soon.

been down again Jabba, u dont close down forums eacy month to upgrade with new versions yew know, wont get anyone new posting and staying, u need advertisements, gain popularity, get it official, u can least get it official on au and .ca as they are easy targets.

Upgrading can lead to more people! If the forum is better (by upgrades) improving the forum it could lead to more people.

Why have ago at me with my attempt to make a forum and not this little donkey of a kid?

For forums to improve you don't need to close forums, when i owned my official forum back in 2004 i did not even have to close it to attract people, apart from getting them new mods installed, alot of effort, and alot of dedication into attracting users.

stop being so jealous just because i said my site received millions of hits during its life of a website and with the music i had on there was used with permission from the makers of them habbo songs.

-> Was i even arguing? NO. I only gave a reply to your point saying "you dont need to close the forum to upgrade" well you do need to close the forum sometimes to upgrade! But not all the time.

There is no problem to put the site on a maintance when your upgrading the forum. It could make it more exciting for users to see what is coming

main sites are more popular than forums.

the domain is a bit of a pain. You cant have a site called Habforum. :D

maybe try putting content on the site like do a section where you can news report, write reviews etc, like a portal.

I wont close a site for no reason at all. There will be always reasons for this. This time was due to the fact that I had to move everything for HabHQ --> HabForum due to a row with Swindont which resulted in a closure and before that was because I went ahead with HabHQ for a bit. Other than that it hasn't had any significant closes.

Riche I have read some of your ideas and may try to do some of them or mayve just buy a different domain as it is easier,
