Hi all

I have a girlfriend, and we are both 13 and we started going out a few days ago. We really, really like each other :) She said if we are still dating by 16 August (Her Birthday) then we could have sex PROTECTED. Me and her both insist its protected. But I heard rumors that using a condom doesnt 100% stop you from pregnancy or STD's. Is this true? :(

Also, should I have sex at my age even if its protected? We would be waiting for a while to see if its works out and all, and we are both 100% sure.

We can't read minds - thats upto you to know, how does your mum react when you do something wrong? .. We don't know you're mum. (All jokes aside ;)).

I just think this thread is a little immature.. no she can't take you to court as the legal age for sex is 16 and it's okay for you both to have sex if you're 16 etc. Obviously condoms cannot prevent pregnancy 100% etc.

I asked incase you had any personal experiance, and your parents wet mad at you. All girlfriends are histoty, that other one just cheated so I dumped her (wasnt long anyway) but this one seems very nice :)

you dont need to know of other peoples experiences to know what is right and wrong. obviously 13 is young to have sex but if you both want to have sex, then just do it. you shouldnt do it if you are unsure of it. and obviously if you are making this thread, you are unsure so you shouldnt have sex. but thats my opinion of this.

you should know that sex isnt wham bam thank you mam and just for messing around. you should really only have sex if you love the person who you are with or if you think that you are ready for that stage.

if you still are a virgin, and you want to lose your virginity to some girl who proberly still has an iron board for a chest then do what ever. but just remember, when it comes to remembering about your first time, you will just know that you lost it to some 13 yr old girl or w.e which you didnt have to, and you proberly dont even love her.

and also if you cant make decisions about sex and that you are lacking in knowledge of it, your school is doing very poor in the sex ed area.
