I half agree. :P I think the 80s were the best, but only because of the Guns N' Roses album, Appetite for Destruction. 90s were second best. :P

I don't personally think the 90's was very good at all, apart from as Chris mentioned Appetite for Destruction [GnR] I can't think of anything else that stands out. Well.. Spice girls etc but you can hardly class that as good music.

Eh, 80's had plenty of good bands. R.E.M., Sonic Youth, The Smiths, Queen, and lots more. but for the most part the bands were bad.

I dont think 2000 has been bad, it's just been uneventful. other than emo, which really isnt that huge, there hasn't really been a music revolution. but that'll change pretty soon. the downfall of major labels will probably bring revolutionary change in all music.
