Great, but I can understand the questions like Whats a condom etc, but asking your older sibling whether they had sex or not, no matter what age you or the person asking the question (unless they are under 5 and immature) isint right

Hes 12. He should have has sufficient sex ed by now but a lot of schools lack of se. Just tell him what he wants to know and tell him bout the bad things bout sex (pregnancy, std's, getting a name for yourself if you have sex at 12 etc)

If your mum will "go nuts" then i think somebody needs to tell her its the 21st century and kids younger then him or having 'sex' by choice and most of them dont use condoms because they havnt been told what a condom is!

i wouldnt go to all that hassle, just tell him old people have sex and if he has sex he will die so he shouldnt have sex, he will probably just revel in his own thoughts then and shut up from asking the questions.
