Well, if any of you guys are from America you know of the current condition on the Nintendo Wii's, with them being very hard to find. Anyone is welcome to post here, including resellers (I myself am one.)
Here are some great sites that I have found in my hunt of 'flippin' Wiis.
Circuit City: Console Availability (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Availability-for-Nintendo-Wii-Console/sem/rpsm/userClick/STORE_PICKUP/oid/165227/c/1/zip/12345/rpem/ccd/howToGetItTab.do#tabs) - very reliable... I just picked one up today this way (find the zip code in the url and change it to yours)
Gamestop/ EB games: Console (http://www.gamestop.com/productavail.asp?miles=50&sku=020070&zip=12345&product_name=Nintendo+Wii&platforms=Nintendo+wii&sbox=020070a%2Ejpg&status=A&bn=False)Availability (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Availability-for-Nintendo-Wii-Console/sem/rpsm/userClick/STORE_PICKUP/oid/165227/c/1/zip/12345/rpem/ccd/howToGetItTab.do#tabs) -good for a rough estimate, call the store before leaving to pick it up (find the zip code in the url and change it to yours)
Xpbargains (online site): Console (http://www.xpbargains.com/wii_locator.php)Availability (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Availability-for-Nintendo-Wii-Console/sem/rpsm/userClick/STORE_PICKUP/oid/165227/c/1/zip/12345/rpem/ccd/howToGetItTab.do#tabs) - great for looking online if you want to find a bundle but every now and then you will get lucky and find an unbundled one for sale
Here are some other helpful hints for you guys:
Those price scanners at Target can come in handy. The code "207-25-0001" can be punched in on these scanners at your local Target; it will tell you if the store has any Wiis in the back room. If they show up as being in the storeroom, go to the counter in electronics and kindly ask. Sometimes you will find someone nice enough to get one for you, other times they will answer that they are being saved for a one day release, which is usually Sunday.
Another big hint is looking through the circulars in the newspaper. You can find these online, Sunday morning on the stores website or you can read them ahead of time in this fourm. Click Here. (http://forum.dvdtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1) You do not have to register and the user speedy1961 posts the circulars for Best Buy, Target, and Circuit City usually the Monday before they are printed in the paper. He will say if the Wii is listed in the add and what all the fine print is. This again comes in great handy. However, these circulars originate in the Northeastern United States, but 95% of the time it is the same for the whole nation. Just remember to double check yours Sunday, use this only a quick estimate.Post your stories of getting your Wii here, and hopefully this helps a few members.
