Jonathan revealed to housemates this evening that he is planning to walk away from the house tomorrow morning.
After a visit to the diary room, Jonathan spoke to the group, explaining that he had come to his decision after a conversation in the garden with Brian this morning.
He stated: "I was walking around with Brian this morning, we were having a lovely chat. The thing I couldn't understand was why I was here really"
The millionaire businessman explained how he had put his whole life on hold to get on the show and that he had only just realised how "reckless" he had been in coming into the house.
He suggested that even if he made the final of the show it wouldn't be enough for his ego and he would have to "do it again" straight away afterwards. Jonathan said the only conclusion he could draw from this was that he didn't think very much of himself.
As the housemates pleaded with him to change his mind, he insisted: "It's not because of anything to do with this house, this house has been the best thing ever for me."
"I don't regret a minute of it - It's probably saved another 10 years hard labour wandering up the wrong road," he announced.
Jonathan apologised for "wasting people's time" in the house and explained that he thought it was best that he spoke to them all rather than "skulking" off.
As Laura tried to persuade him to stay by mentioning how Shabnam had wanted to leave at one point, he barked: "I don't care about Shabnam - I never knew her and never will!"
Once he had finished his speech all the housemates wished him well and Liam declared they should have one last night of fun together in the house. He joked: "Why don't you go out in style? Go out without your clothes on and do a handstand."
Jonathan talked about his decision to leave Big Brother, with no regrets and why it's the best decision for his ego.
"I feel blessed and really relieved. I feel I have dignity too," disclosed Jonathan.
He justified his decision by saying that his entire life had been a struggle to prove he wasn't a failure and that he only realised what he was doing this week.
He talked about how he had survived a nomination and wanted to go out under his own power.
Describing his time in the house as "a magical time", he told the housemates: "My job here is done," adding: "I think I've learnt what I needed to learn."
Jonathan said he wanted to finish his book and make a movie. "I'm not crap," he stated, "I'm great and it's time to channel it somewhere else."
Thoughts? I wish sometimes Housemates would stay till they got evicted >.<
