Many times I look over my shoulder
Feeling a prescence standing near me
I always try to wonder
Who or what could it be?
In January you were taken
Too soon and so cruelly
I stood by your bedside
I prayed for your health
Then I was at your funeral
Praying for your peace
I've never been a believer
But faith helped the greif
For a while I was bitter
Angry at you being taken away
There was so much we had to do
There was so much I wanted to say
Then when the darkness comes
I see a shining light
I look up in amazement as I see you
I miss you Grandad
But now I have you back
You're my angel in the night.
