Well i might be allowed to get a facial piercing?
i wnated snakebites but my mum said i should get a monroe
is there any other piercings i could consider?
and if you have one of them done can you tell how much they hurt.

I think that any piercing on your face that you might like would be best because you have to live with it your whole life. Well you could take out the ring but you would still have a hole were it used to be so pick wisely

snakebites is when you get each side of your lip pierced.

id love to get an anti-eyebrow, one thats like just above your cheek (google it if you dont get me) but i very much doubt itll suit me.

i was thinking about getting what i wanted which was snakebites or a monroe.

when i actually myself like to wear scene clothes, which you lot seem to think it impossiable, i dont like to wear chavvie stuff like tracksuits. etc
I like to feel comfortable in my own skin

What the hell? Tongue is the least painful piercing you can possibly get, it hurts less than a simple lobe job, and lip isn't much worse. As for doing them manually, they should all be done manually.. you don't get pierced by machine generally lol.

In regards to thread topic, I'd suggest getting none. If you don't know what you want, don't get anything, otherwise it's clearly just a case of "I can get one and piercings are OMGZCOOL so I therefore must get one".

What the hell? Tongue is the least painful piercing you can possibly get, it hurts less than a simple lobe job, and lip isn't much worse.

When you consider the disability caused by the tongue piercing it isn't exactly a walk in the park. When I had my webbing done I couldn't fully extend my tongue for several days without feeling some sort of pain.

Plus the whole swilling salt water around my mouth thing was disgusting.

Webbing's different though, a normal tongue piercing is almost painless, and you're not meant to extend your tongue fully for a few days anyway because it will agitate the piercing ;) My tongue was fine after... a few hours. I went home and had a full meal with some pretty solid garlic bread after mine.

What i'm planning to get is three loops in the middle of my lower lip, the middle loop wih the baubble on it and the other two without. I think that would look sweet, hoping to get it in a few weeks.

Oh dear, there's your problem. You should never numb any piercing. It makes the whole healing process much worse, and it's really quite unprofessional.

Well I was in a shop full of greebs. ;) I know they weren't meant to numb the tongue or anything but they sprayed some crap underneath my tongue which numbed it completely. I didn't feel the piercing part at all.

Ah well, they won't spray it when I get the body of my tongue done.

Nah he's right, loads of scene kids get monroe and other upper lip crap now. Then again, all they really do is find something that they don't think many people have and ALL get it because it clearly makes them individual and cool. I'm sticking with eyebrow lobe and tongue myself, and I don't care how many other people have them because they look better on me :P

Few people suit facial piercings imho. Without seeing a pic i couldnt tell you what would suit you.
Monroes look crud on most people, it usually looks like a big fat spot.
The couple of people i have seen who suit it tend to have dark skin.

Nothing iv had so far has hurt but iv never had any facial piercings (unless u count tongue)

And iv only met one girl who suits an eyebrow piercing and she dresses/ acts/ looks like a bloke :P

i think monroe's look amazing on girls. They look really elegant if its the only facial piercing you have. It doesnt hurt either. My aunt's got it.

if you're going to have a monroe though, make it your only piercing because if your face is cluttered it looks silly.

I have my eyebrow, and top of my ear cartilage, and i'm going to get my tongue done on saturday.

OR GET SEPTUM well some people look dreadful with it but i love septum piercings xxxxxx
