this is going to sound totally weird... and make me sound like I need to be in a mental institution.
but it's freaked me out so much you wouldn't' believe it.
Right, i've been having this same dream since I was pretty much.. 5 years old.
It's very detailed but i'm going to keep it short.
There was a white and a blue plane next to eachother, I boarded the white one and took off in it, I was with 5 of my friends. Anyway, we were climbing up, when all of a sudden the blue jet (I obviously didn't know that at that point in my dream) scraped across the top of the jets roof and collided with it, thus crashing etc.
In the dream, I could like.. perfectly remember the jet, it had red, yellow and black flags on the engines and tail, and red yellow and black stripes down the middle. It said "flying colours" for the airline. It meant nothing to me at the time, just thought it was my imagination.
I had the dream AGAIN last night, so I decided to search flying colours up to see what I got.
It was SO freaky, I found a jet that matched my description.. perfectly, I didn't even know the airline existed, nor had I ever seen it.

I'm just so freaked out... is there any explanation for it?

Could the plane be rather old and you pick it up from seeing it in a magazine or on tv and it been in your subconcious since?

That's what I'd suggest, it'd have to be a subconscious recollection really. I can't explain recurring dreams about it (I used to have recurring dreams when I was young and can't think why) but the resemblance is too uncanny to be coincidence, and I don't believe in that kind of paranormal thing ^^

you may of seen it when you were younger, maybe flew on it? and you were scared about it in your head that u kept it in your head and you had he dream again.

Maybe you seen that plane and while consious you placed the immage into your dream, its strange but stuff like that can happen e.g. when you have a dream about a stranger and you see them in the street, its just you putting there face into the dream after you have had it...

Repetitive dreams eh?
I had one when I was younger, I used to be trapped in my school when it caught fire.
I would be walking to the door to get out, then all of a sudden my legs would become really heavy and I would never reach the door. The last thing I could always remember was the fire crackling behind me.
About 2 years ago now (Yes, I'm getting somewhere with this... be patient) I had the dream again. Except this time I overcame the physical weight on me and managed to get out the door and away from the building. It promptly exploded.
Call me naive, but I can probably pinpoint that as my last ever fear of fire. Maybe you have a fear of planes, I don't know. But if it is, meh. We all have fears.
(I'm aware this wasn't the greatest of help, but I'm no Phobia Psychatrist)

Idk though.. it's not a fear... I don't even think that airline exists anymore, I can't find a URL.
I asked my mum, she said we never flew with them.. perhaps I did see it somewhere.. but I knew what the interior looked like, the logo off by heart, all the little details.

Dreams are visual representations of the thoughts in your head being mixed around (hence why they are so weird sometimes).
Whatever is in your dream, you will have seen before, not necesserily in real life, but maybe in a magazine, or on television, possibly a TV advert, something which you would forget ever seeing, however that jet will stay in your mind, as random things do. It's a UK airline (or english speaking country, not USA) because of the way "COLOURS" is spelt. And as you said you've been having it for many years, so it was probably something in the UK that triggered it. Maybe when you went to an airport as a child this was another plane at the airport? I don't think i've ever seen/heard of this airline, so it's quite possibly an OLD airline.
Of course if this is a frequent dream, the reason you are still dreaming about it, and keep dreaming about it is because you are puzzled, and clearly thinking about this dream.
When people say "i dreamt something and it happened", thats usually the subconcious mind knowing that something is going to happen, most things dreams predict are predictable.
I wouldn't worry about the events of this dream happening, unless of course you went to get on a "Flying Colours" aeroplane!!

I'm sorry but you said the flying colours plane was blue. The image shows it as white. And people are saying "don't fly with that airline." She didn't in the dream. She got on the white plane, not the flying colours plane.
I have had dreams where I have predicted things to the tinyest detail. I think mine was a scene from a movie though.
Repetitive dreams, I have had loads. My first, I used to dream about Superman drowning (I classed that as a nightmare). Then I had a dream about a school fete. There was a rhino. It escaped and ate one of my m8s. I ran into the classroom and tried to get the door shut. The rhino banged on the door and then the banging stopped. I went out the door again and I was at home. I turned around and there was an elephant in a nightgown. The dream ended there. Another I had was I was trapped in a building with some friends and about 1000 young t-rex's. (Much like the Godzilla movie). We didn't escape!
