With the Xbox 360 being officially unveiled on 12th May, on MTV (in America; I think it's on MTV UK the next day), it seems that the battle of the next gen consoles is getting underway.
So far all that has been mentioned for the other consoles are tech specs, which aren't very interesting, but E3 should bring the consoles out in all their glory.
Leaked photos of the Xbox 360 show that it looks a lot sleeker, and more of a smexy console all round. It's all white, and rumoured to have no wires at all; which means infra-red controllers will come as standard. It's also supposed to be available in 2 different packages - one with a hard drive (as the current Xbox is; but it is rumoured that it may come with a few inbuilt games) and one without a hard drive. There will obviously be price differences, but a hard drive means you wont have to fork out on an expensive memory card, and you'll be able to store music. With the Xbox Live community being successful already, online will probably be a standard feature.
What I'd like to know is, which of the "Big 3" consoles will you be buying?
Microsoft Xbox 360
Sony Playstation 3
Nintendo Revolution
The first console to be hitting out shelves will be the Xbox 360, as it is rumoured to be releases (at least in America) but November of this year. Next year will see the PS3 and Revolution also released.
