School closed today!

Due to a factory fire on the M6. Teachers couldn't get to school, as they were stuck on the motorway. So we got send home.

I got a review day thing, its really crap :( you go to school for like 10 minutes n jus have a meetin with your Form tutor and they speak to your parents n after 10 minutes u jus go home, Mine was at 9.30 :)

we do that at my school, we call it target setting day..

i don't mind sports, but at sports day, you do one little event, and then you have to sit on the hill for the rest of it in your tutors. you aint allowed to much about and play football, just sit there.

i'll give it a miss.

And to the above - we call it Academic Tutoring Day

my high school is finishing this week as the school is being knocked down. so they get off a week early. but they have to come to my college for induction day(s)

Lucky you, no matter what we NEVER ever get sent home. anyone remember when the tiles were falling off the roofs because of the wind in the winter? and most schools got sent home? well not mine even though a slate nearly hit a student in the head. The principal is abit werid.. no matter what she'll never send us home and she has training days for each subject instead of teacher training days and they happen on different days so we are always in school. So your lucky to get sent home i no we wouldnt get sent home.

My school is alrite we get days off for report writing days once a semester and sometimes when we have a public holiday on the tuesday school will give us the monday off aswell cause my school is kewl lol
but there are downsides
its really easy to get expelled but you do the right thing and your fine:P
