vBulletin Style Installing

Could someone help me install a style, i keep trying but it never installs properly.

what happens when you install a style?

Are you uploading the correct file?
and not a XML File what goes in includes folder?

It doesn't show all the images and when i change like the directory of images it still misses off some etc.
