It was Gordon Brown's first Prime Minister's Questions session and he made quite a fool of himself. He deffinately needs to improve if he's hoping to stand out as a leader. There was one particular question from the Conservatives which was a bit tricky and Gordon replied:
I have only been on this job for five days.
Worst excuse ever. Even David Cameron had a pained expression on his face when Gordon came out with that one as if to say "come on Gordon, you can do better than that!"
I hope the Prime Minister can do better because he is gonna have to!

The problem is that whether you liked him or not, Tony Blair was an extremely charismatic man, and no-one can really follow that up like he did. Brown, by contrast, is not very good in that respect, hence why he fell apart at PMQ.
I do agree however, he isn't doing too well so far.

I didn't think much of Blairs speeches, but he was slick, he used a lot of umm and err but he never got flustered like Gordon Brown has.
I loved Hague and Howards speeches :)

Give him a chance to get the shoes on. Probably still nervous and what not. If he's still like this next week, then we know there's a problem.

I agree Howard was bad there, but I do think he was a good MP for what he stood for.

Thankfully, I think he has redeemed himself looking a fool at those questions by that fancy-pants new building plan announced today. Obviously he's trying to make an impact.

I told you Tony was at the peak of his political debating. Pity he wasn't a great action man.
Give Gordon a break though. Look at his Budgets, when he was Chancellor. They were pretty impressive. Soon he'll settle into the position, I think.

The budgets seemed like Tax Cuts, but it was all spin, even the last budget he did was a load of rubbish.
They cut one tax then put another tax up, but only mention the tax which has decreased.
