Same town/city I wouldn't mind.
Other end of the country then that's a problem

my girlfriend currently lives in the borders of scotland and england while i live in southwest england...
we take it in turns to travel the 3/4 hour trip on the train and spend a a few weeks there... works pretty well... considering it'll be 6months in ... 3 days time? ... and shes due to come down in the next week for a month anyway.
i think it works :)

Well I live right next to coventry and I went out with someone that lives in Nottingham, its like a 50min drive.
I loved it, its much better in my opinion - you don't get them knocking at your door 24/7 :D

you worry yes... but its all built on trust.... and if you can't trust them then the relationships screwed anyway, you have to remember they are trusting you not to cheat as well

Takes me about 40/60 minutes to see my bf :)
Depends on trains and their delays.

mine lives other side of birmingham. roughly 30 minutes on the bus to get into the centre of the city to see her, or 20 on the train ennit. if anyone knows birmingham; i live in sutton she lives in bearwood. then you can work it out.
Nope, I had a girlfriend who lived about an hour and a half away, but with a moped it was easy to get to.

i'd never be able to go out with someone too far away.
right now its a 10-15 min walk
and a 5 min drive
aha loveitttt
but i think other side of the country would be hard, especially coz im skint 24/7 so train fares would be impossible?

I couldn't cope if my girlfriend lived quite a lengthy time away from me.

I'm lucky as my girlfriend only lives about 5-10 minutes down the road from me, and we've been together 1 year 3 months today! :)
I don't know if I could manage a long distance relationship... but I know they can work for some people!

Love is beautiful, regardless if it takes you to the ends of the world, you would walk right?

well my ex moved and ended up living 4 hours in the car away, but we managed to make it last 3 years, then i realised what a total controlling **** i was with.
But my current boyfriend lives half an hour away, but gets the bus to meet me from school every day and sleeps over on the weekends, so s'all good. (:

My ex lived 7 miles away, but we coped fine for a few months, it was just ourselves that broke up, not due to the distance.
I dunno how well I could cope in a long distance relation, probably not that well :P
